3. Patient Responsibilities & Consent

When utilizing our services, as per standard clinical protocols, you agree to:

  • Provide informed consent prior to any medical procedure, investigation, or telemedicine consultation as mandated by Indian law.
  • Respect the time and professional dignity of the healthcare providers and staff.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your patient portal account credentials.

4. Telemedicine & Online Consultations

Our online consultation services strictly adhere to the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines (2020) issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the NMC:

  • You understand that remote consultation has inherent limitations compared to physical, in-person examinations.
  • The consulting registered medical practitioner (RMP) reserves the right to discontinue the online consultation and mandate a physical visit if the clinical condition requires it.
  • Prescriptions issued online will strictly follow the categorization of medicines permitted under the Telemedicine Guidelines (List O, A, B). Schedule X and habit-forming drugs will not be prescribed via telemedicine.

5. Transparent Pricing & Billing

In compliance with the Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2010, Nidaan Polyclinic maintains transparency in its fee structure. Consultation fees, diagnostic charges, and procedural costs are made available to patients prior to the delivery of services.

6. Limitation of Liability

While our medical professionals exercise the highest standard of care and evidence-based medicine, Nidaan Polyclinic and its practitioners shall not be liable for outcomes arising from patient non-compliance, withholding of vital medical information by the patient, or unforeseeable medical complications. Our liability is strictly governed by the laws of medical negligence as established by the Supreme Court of India.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes, medical-legal claims, or grievances arising out of or in connection with these terms and services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Guwahati, Assam.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these clinical terms and website conditions at any time to reflect changes in NMC/MCI guidelines or statutory laws. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the effective date on this page.
